Dr. Omotoso received his undergraduate medical education at the University of Ilorin during which he won the University Scholarship, obtained his MBBS and was awarded the prizes for the overall best medical graduate, as well as the best student in Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology and Pharmacology in 1988.
He completed his general surgical residency and a subsequent vascular fellowship at the University of Cape Town and Groote Schuur Hospital in South Africa.
