VASCULAR SURGEON
Dr. Omotoso received his undergraduate medical education at the University of Ilorin during which he won the University Scholarship, obtained his MBBS and was awarded the prizes for the overall best medical graduate, as well as the best student in Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology and Pharmacology in 1988.
He completed his general surgical residency and a subsequent vascular fellowship at the University of Cape Town and Groote Schuur Hospital in South Africa. He did a further year of vascular fellowship at Bournemouth, United Kingdom (UK) and was appointed Consultant Vascular Surgeon at Bedford, UK in 2004. As endovascular surgery continued to expand, Dr. Omotoso took a sabbatical to do an endovascular fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, USA in 2009.
His interest spans the wide and full range of vascular surgery including carotid, visceral and peripheral vascular disease, aneurysm disease; haemodialysis access surgery, thoracic outlet syndrome and treatment of venous disease. He has extensive experience in the endovenous treatment of varicose veins with special interest in the use of radio frequency thermal ablation.
Dr. Omotoso also has extensive experience in the treatment of vein disease and is a caring professional committed to improving the health and well-being of his patients.
